Party in brisbane

Hello again from Oz! Once again, it has been some time since I have added an update. Things have gone by incredibly fast for me lately and all of the sudden, my time in Oz seems to be ending, at least for now.

But first, there are some other fun things to report on. Like my trip to Brisbane, for instance. Now, both my housemates and most of their friends went to school in Brisbane, which is on the south end of the state of Queensland. So I was excited to have the opportunity to see the area as they knew it. The picture of the building is one of the main quads at UQ, the University of Queensland and the scenic view is from mount Cooth-ha. Hopefully none of my brizzy mates see that spelling, or they will be making fun of me, yet again, but who cares. The weather was fantastic and it was a really fun weekend. The real reason we were up there is to bid farewell to my housemate Tim, who is off adventuring around the world to end up in sunny London. (As much as Aussie's love to go there, they have it much better here.) Anyway, it was a great party and, thanks to the help of Dave and Katie, I was able to introduce my housemates to their first Twinkie's. I feel it is important to share the best bits of our culture around the globe. The other photo is myself, my housemates, and other friends at the party.

Really, a great time. The next update will probably be my last while still living in Sydney. My finale shots and my trip to Uluru and King's Canyon! Till next time.
