Trekking outside of Sapa in the North of Vietnam

Alright, here are a few photos from the treck through the hills. Probably the coolest parts are the fact the steppes are carved out of the hills everywhere to trap water for growing rice, and then the first photo is the girls who walked with us. When we set out, there were two local girls assigned to each member of the tour (but not part of the tour, they just know when we arrive) and they walk all the way with us. Now, in the end they are just trying to sell stuff, but they talk about their day to day lives as well. Then, they leave our group and go back to find the next one. They are much more used to walking thourgh the rice paddies and paths than us. A cool treck.
